It’s March, spring is springing and St. Patrick’s Day isn’t far away. This month until Paddy’s I’ll be posting a different Irish Whiskey every day to showcase a few of my personal favourite & affordable Irish Whiskeys. None of the posts are sponsored, some bottles I bought, some were sent to me but all opinions are my own. This idea was inspired by some fantastic work done by Basti at Whiskygermany recently. Where to start? Here: Bushmills Black Bush is one of the most underrated whiskeys the island has to offer. It’s sweet, well balanced versatile and rings clear with spices, nuts, cereal and the all powerful olorosso sherry influence. It’s a blend of grain and single malt and in Germany you can pick up a bottle under 25 Euro. Amazing value for money.
